Claude certification exam day depends on how you booked it. Online candidates begin OnVUE check-in 30 minutes early on Windows 10 or macOS 14 or later, one display, at least 6 Mbps down and 2 up, no VPN; they show a physical unexpired ID, complete a 360-degree room scan and get up to 120 minutes with no breaks. Test centre candidates follow their confirmation email and use the centre's equipment. Both see the score when the exam ends.

Pearson publishes one exact time: check-in opens 30 minutes before the appointment. The other rows are milestones, not minute marks. Run the official OnVUE system test on the device and network you will use on the day.
Claude certification Pearson VUE registration: two emails, one sign-in
You register and pay in the Anthropic Partner Academy, not in Pearson, and only with a work email on a recognised Claude Partner Network domain; the eligibility guide covers who qualifies. The checkout price already carries your tier discount. Pearson VUE then sends two emails from PearsonVUEConfirmation@e.pearson.com: “Web Account Created”, holding your username, and “Notice of Automatic Web Account Creation”, holding a temporary password. They usually arrive within minutes and often land in spam.
Sign in at the Pearson VUE ANTHROPIC sign-in page, accept the Candidate Agreement, set a password of 12 or more characters with mixed case and a number or symbol, answer three security questions in Roman letters, then schedule from the dashboard: online proctored or a test centre. The official Exam Registration Guide shows every step with screenshots. A registration stays valid for five years, so paying does not commit you to a date.

India is the largest single country in this site's search traffic, and Indian candidates are eligible for OnVUE, so this list is written for a home desk first. Three things matter more there than the table suggests. Measure the connection on the exact network at the appointment hour; 6 down and 2 up is the floor, not a target. Keep the laptop on mains power; if the session drops, Pearson says to relaunch OnVUE from the downloads folder. And check that the Latin-script spelling on the ID you will show matches your Pearson profile now, while the 24-hour name-correction window is open.
Once the timer starts
Nerves in the first few items are normal and not evidence that you are unprepared. If your reading speed spikes, re-read the stem before touching an answer; a misread scenario costs the item. The pacing plan belongs to preparation, not to the day: the Claude certification study guide sets out the three-stage budget. Protect time for the count check on every multiple-response item. All four exams run 120 minutes, but the counts differ: CCAO-F and CCAR-F at 60, CCDV-F at 53, and CCAR-P at 63.
The policies that cost money
Most of these need action before the appointment.

Claude exam proctored online, or at a test centre
Same form, different logistics. A Claude certification test centre is the right call when a managed work device blocks OnVUE, or when your ID is from a country Pearson excludes from online delivery (the FAQ lists them). Find one from Pearson's Anthropic programme page.
The room scan is not a formality
One display, a clear desk, alone for two hours, no break. A prohibited device or another person entering can end the session and forfeit the fee. Prepare the space to the rule, not to look tidy.
The moment you finish
Your score appears on screen at the end of the session. Test centre candidates also get a printed report, a copy is emailed, and it stays under View Score Reports in your Pearson account: pass or fail, a scaled score and percent correct by section. The credential arrives separately, by email from Credly, usually within minutes for an online sitting: the badge is not in Pearson.
The section breakdown is the part to keep: a map of where to restudy, and if the result went the wrong way, already the plan for the next attempt. What the scaled number means is covered in the 720 passing score.
