Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 August 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Cred Farmer ("we", "us", or "our"). They govern your access to and use of the Cred Farmer website and application (the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate.
2. The Service
Cred Farmer is an independent, third-party study aid offering study guides, practice questions, mock examinations, and readiness tracking for certain professional certifications. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial exam preparation only. We are not a certification body and do not administer official examinations. See our Disclaimer for important limits on affiliation and results.
3. Accounts and authentication
You register and sign in using a third-party OAuth provider (currently Google or GitHub). We never receive or store your provider password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the third-party account used to access Cred Farmer and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@credfarmer.com if you suspect unauthorised access. We are not liable for loss arising from a compromise of your Google or GitHub credentials.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, scrape, crawl, harvest, or systematically extract the study materials, question banks, or mock examinations, whether manually or by automated means;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying models of the Service;
- resell, sublicense, redistribute, or publicly post the content, or use it to build a competing product;
- disrupt, overload, probe, or circumvent the security or rate limits of the Service; or
- use the Service unlawfully, or to infringe the rights of others.
Breach of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without notice.
5. Your content (feedback and testimonials)
The Service lets you send us two different kinds of writing, and they are treated differently.
- Private feedback. Anything you submit through the “Share feedback” form is for us alone. We do not publish it, quote it, or attribute it to you, and we do not share it with third parties except the processors listed in our Privacy Policy.
- Testimonials. If — and only if — you tick the publication box on the testimonial form, you grant Cred Farmer a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to reproduce and display that testimonial, and the display name you chose, on our public pages and marketing materials. You grant this licence voluntarily and receive no payment, discount, or other consideration for it.
You confirm that a testimonial you submit is your own honest opinion, reflects your genuine experience, and does not contain another person’s personal information or anything unlawful, defamatory, or infringing.
We publish testimonials as written. We do not edit them, and we do not decline them for being critical or unfavourable. We may decline to publish one only where it is spam or promotional, abusive or harassing, contains a third party’s personal information, makes a defamatory or unverifiable claim about an identifiable person, is off topic or unintelligible, duplicates another submission, or was submitted by someone not eligible. If we decline, we tell you which of those reasons applied.
You can withdraw at any time. Revoking the licence takes effect from your account settings and removes the testimonial from our live pages immediately. Because our public pages are pre-built and are cached and indexed by search engines and other services we do not control, copies may persist elsewhere for a period after removal; we aim to rebuild the site within 7 days of a withdrawal. We may also remove a published testimonial at our discretion.
6. Intellectual property
All content on the Service — including study guides, question banks, text, graphics, software, and the Cred Farmer name and logo — is owned by Cred Farmer or its licensors and is protected by Indian and international intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the content for your own exam preparation. No other rights are granted. Trademarks and certification names belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners and are used only descriptively (see the Disclaimer).
7. Copyright complaints
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice to hello@credfarmer.com identifying the work claimed to be infringed, the material you allege infringes it and its location on the Service, and your contact details. We will investigate and, where warranted, remove or disable access to the material in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
8. Fees
Where the Service or any feature is offered free of charge, we may change or withdraw it at any time. If we introduce paid features, the applicable price, billing terms, and refund policy will be presented to you before you purchase, and those terms will form part of this agreement.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Readiness scores, streaks, and practice results are simulations and are not official results. Passing a mock exam on Cred Farmer does not guarantee passing any official certification examination. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content is complete or current, as exam formats and content weightings change without notice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cred Farmer and its directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or INR 1,000. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cred Farmer from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, the licence granted to you ends; sections that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law) will continue to apply.
13. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within thirty (30) days, the dispute will be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, by a sole arbitrator appointed by Cred Farmer. The seat and venue of arbitration will be Gurugram, Haryana, India, and the proceedings will be conducted in English. Subject to the foregoing, the courts at Gurugram, Haryana, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter not subject to arbitration, and nothing in this section limits your right to approach a consumer forum or data-protection authority where applicable law entitles you to do so.
14. Force majeure
We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including internet or hosting-provider outages, natural disasters, government action, or widespread failures of third-party services (such as our OAuth or analytics providers) that the Service depends on.
15. General provisions
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Disclaimer, form the entire agreement between you and Cred Farmer regarding the Service.
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
- Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Third-party links. The Service may link to third-party sites (including official certification-provider pages). We do not control and are not responsible for their content or practices.
- Notices. We may provide notices to you by email or by posting within the Service. Notices to us must be sent to hello@credfarmer.com.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
