Claude certification practice exams
Practice is the hardest part of Claude certification prep to source, because the official practice exam no longer exists. Here is the honest state of play — and how to practise without straying into material that could cost you your certification.
There is no official practice exam any more
When Claude certification exams moved to Pearson VUE, the practice exam on the previous platform was retired and has not been replaced. What remains officially is the sample questions inside each exam guide — useful for calibrating question style, but far too few to tell you whether you are ready. That gap is why third-party practice material exists at all.
Avoid braindumps — the risk is your credential
Sites advertising “real exam questions” or “actual dumps” are selling material that candidates were bound not to disclose. Beyond the ethics, there are two practical consequences: certification bodies revoke credentials obtained this way, and dumped questions go stale the moment the exam is refreshed, so you memorise answers to questions you will never see.
Signals that material is illegitimate
- It claims to contain real, actual, or leaked exam questions
- It guarantees a pass
- It is questions and answer keys only, with no teaching or explanation
- Questions read oddly or contain consistent typos — a sign of transcription from memory
- It invites users to submit “what I saw on my exam”
How to practise so it actually works
Full length, full clock. Partial sets do not rehearse the fatigue and pacing that cause real mistakes.
Closed book. The exam permits no notes, documentation, or AI assistance — practise the same way or your scores are meaningless.
Review wrong answers properly. Understanding why the other options fail is what transfers to a differently-worded question.
Track by domain. An overall score hides a weak domain. Break results down against the blueprint.
Repeat until it is boring. Readiness is clearing the mark consistently, not once.

Is there an official Claude certification practice exam?
No. The practice exam that existed on Anthropic’s previous platform was retired when exam delivery moved to Pearson VUE. The only official practice material now is the sample questions included in each exam guide.
Where can I find real Claude certification exam questions?
You should not, and you should be wary of anywhere claiming to sell them. Exam questions are confidential, candidates agree not to disclose them, and using leaked material ("braindumps") is grounds for having your certification revoked. Legitimate practice questions are written independently from the published exam objectives.
How do I know if a practice test is legitimate?
Legitimate practice material is authored from the published exam objectives and explains why each answer is right or wrong. Warning signs of illegitimate material: claims of "real exam questions", guarantees you will pass, no teaching content alongside the questions, and repeated typos suggesting questions were transcribed from memory.
How many practice questions should I do before the exam?
Quantity matters less than conditions and review. Sit at least two or three full-length timed papers so the clock stops being a surprise, and spend more time reviewing wrong answers than answering new ones. Consistently clearing the pass mark under time is the signal you are ready.
Are Cred Farmer’s practice questions real exam questions?
