Where is your Claude certification Credly badge and PDF?

The Claude certification Credly badge is sent to the email address you registered with, from admin@credly.com under the display name Anthropic via Credly. Accept it into a Credly account and the badge's public page becomes your live, shareable credential, and a PDF certificate is also available: open the badge, select Share, then choose the certificate download. Your Pearson VUE score report is a separate record and holds the result and domain percentages.

Score report versus badge: what arrives after a pass

Two systems, because the exam result and the credential do different jobs. Anthropic's certification FAQ (questions 30 and 33) says the score appears on screen at the end of the exam, a copy of the score report is emailed and is also available in your Pearson VUE account under View Score reports, and test-centre candidates receive a printed copy. The badge follows separately: for online proctored exams the Credly email usually arrives within minutes, while test-centre delivery takes a little longer.

Find and accept your Claude certification Credly badge

Open the Credly invitation, create or sign in to the account for the address it was sent to, and accept the badge. Credly's badge-management guide then points you to the badge's Share menu for its social, download and link options. If you passed more than one exam, each badge is accepted separately, and all of them appear on Anthropic's issuer page on Credly as the templates in the table above.

When you search your wallet later, search for "Claude Certified" rather than a code: CCAO-F, CCDV-F, CCAR-F and CCAR-P appear in the badge description, not in the title.

Download the PDF certificate

In Credly, open your Profile, find the badge in the Badge Wallet, open its detail page and select Share. Credly's certificate-download instructions say the badge and profile must both be public before the download appears. Anthropic's FAQ (question 39) confirms the PDF is available to Claude certification holders.

Use the PDF when a procurement record or an application form needs a document. Use the public page when the reader needs to know the credential is still current: the PDF is frozen on the day you saved it, while the live record shows the badge's state today.

If the Credly email is missing, or went to an old work address

Work the checks in order. Registration requires a work email on a recognised partner domain (the Claude certification eligibility guide explains why), so the badge goes to that address even if your Credly account uses a personal one.

Credly treats each email address as an earner identifier. Its multiple-email instructions say to add the registration address as a verified secondary email so that badges sent to either address land in one profile; duplicate accounts are merged rather than abandoned. If you have already left the employer and never accepted the badge, the inbox is gone and only Credly support can help, so have the name and email you registered with ready.

No expiry on the badge page, 12 months in the rules

Credly's template pages for the five Anthropic badges show the issuer, the level, the type and the skills, and no validity period. That does not mean the credential is permanent. The FAQ (question 37) and section 14 of every v1.0 exam guide say a certification is valid for 12 months from the date it is earned. Renewal inside that window is free and not proctored; after a lapse, only the full exam at the full fee restores certified status. Check your issued badge for an Expires line, and if there is none, count 12 months from the issue date yourself. The renewal and expiry post covers the window in detail.

How an employer checks a Claude badge

Every accepted badge has a public page at an address of the form credly.com/badges/<identifier>; the Share menu's copied link may add a /public_url suffix, which resolves to the same page. The page shows the earner's name, the badge title, Issued by Anthropic, the issue date, the earning criterion (passing the named proctored exam), the skills the issuer tagged, and a Verify control that confirms the badge is live and has not been revoked. A screenshot or a PDF shows none of that live state.

A three-step check is enough. Confirm the link is on credly.com and the path is /badges/. Confirm the title matches one of the five templates above and the issuer is Anthropic, since a display name alone proves nothing. Confirm the issue date is inside the last 12 months, because the page itself does not say when the credential lapses. The same link is what you should paste when you add the certification to your resume.

Cred Farmer's own verification field accepts that public URL, not a screenshot or a PDF, and compares it with the official issuer and badge-template identifiers, the signed-in email and the revoked or expired state at the time of the check.
