To reschedule or cancel a Claude certification exam, sign in to your Pearson VUE account for the ANTHROPIC programme, open the appointment and pick a new date or cancel it. The rules are the same for CCAO-F, CCDV-F, CCAR-F and CCAR-P, and they were checked against the official sources on 17 September 2026: the v1.0 exam guides, the Pearson VUE Anthropic page and the certification FAQ.

The disagreement is in the primary sources themselves. Step 6 of each guide's registration section allows a cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before the appointment, later changes forfeiting the fee. The Pearson page says 48 hours for test-centre appointments, and FAQ Q20 ("Can I reschedule or cancel?") says nothing can be changed less than 48 hours prior. Plan around 48.
How to reschedule or cancel a Claude certification exam
The path is the same for online proctoring and a test centre: you reschedule Claude certification exam appointments in Pearson, not on the Partner Academy. FAQ Q11 describes the hand-off: pay on the Academy, receive a Pearson link by email, log in there and schedule. Changing the appointment reverses the last step only.
Find the Pearson link in your confirmation email
You paid on the Anthropic Partner Academy; the confirmation email carries the Pearson VUE link (FAQ Q11). If it is gone, use the sign-in page directly.

The sign-in page is wsr.pearsonvue.com/testtaker/signin/SignInPage/ANTHROPIC. Use the account that holds the appointment; another account will not see it.
Check the clock before you touch anything
Compare the start time with the current time in the appointment’s own time zone. Under 48 hours is inside the window Pearson and the FAQ enforce.
Open the appointment and choose reschedule or cancel
Reschedule keeps the paid attempt and offers a new date, mode and centre. Cancel removes the date only; the five-year registration remains.
Keep the new confirmation email
Pearson emails a fresh confirmation for a rescheduled appointment. Check the date, time zone, delivery mode and centre address.
If you want a refund, send the email
Cancelling does not ask for one. Write to certifications-support@anthropic.com from the registered address, name the exam, and ask (FAQ Q21).
The direct route to step 2 is Pearson VUE's ANTHROPIC sign-in page. If Pearson shows no appointment, the registration may not have reached it: FAQ Q36 says a completed registration produces a scheduling link in Pearson, and FAQ Q48 sends scheduling problems to Pearson support.
Getting a Claude certification refund
Three official statements exist about refunds, and none is generous. FAQ Q21 ("Does cancelling my exam appointment in Pearson automatically issue a refund?"): cancelling in Pearson is designed to let you pick a new date; it does not end your registration or trigger a refund, and if you no longer plan to sit you should email certifications-support@anthropic.com. The exam guides: refusing the confidentiality agreement ends the session with no refund. The exam policy: any misconduct sanction comes with no obligation to refund fees.
Nothing else is published: no processing time, no partial-refund table, no list of accepted reasons. A request is exactly that, and the honest expectation is a reply rather than a guaranteed outcome. Because a registration lasts five years, the alternative is to leave it open and schedule again when you are ready, which costs nothing.
Plan for 48, not 24
Two official cutoffs are published. Pearson holds the appointment and enforces its own, so a change made 30 hours out is compliant with the guide you downloaded and blocked by the system you are using. Move the date the moment you know you need to, and never inside two days.
Claude exam no-show and late arrival
Missing the appointment is the expensive version of cancelling late. Section 11 of the CCAO-F, CCDV-F and CCAR-P guides (Section 12 of the CCAR-F guide) says a candidate who fails to appear, or arrives after the permitted late-arrival window, forfeits the exam fee and must re-register. FAQ Q46 says the same: you forfeit the fee and purchase a new attempt.
Two details matter. Second, a no-show is not a failed attempt: it starts no retake wait and counts against no attempt cap; it simply spends the fee. A worked timeline
Suppose the appointment is Thursday at 10:00 in its own time zone. Pearson's 48-hour rule makes Tuesday at 10:00 the last safe moment to reschedule or cancel. Between Tuesday 10:00 and Wednesday 10:00 the guides would still permit a change, but the system you are using will not; from Wednesday 10:00 every source agrees the fee is gone. Missing Thursday's start time forfeits it too.
When moving the date is the right call
The most common reason to reschedule a Claude certification exam is not illness or travel but a preparation plan that ran long. Moving the date costs nothing outside the cutoff, so the arithmetic favours moving early over sitting unready and paying again after a 14-day wait.
