Head to head

Cred Farmer vs PassCCA.com (CCA Prep): which should you use?

Cred Farmer scores higher under every reader profile published here, but PassCCA.com (CCA Prep) still wins on specific criteria listed below.

Cred Farmer publishes this comparison and is one of the two platforms in it. Every figure below links to PassCCA.com (CCA Prep)'s own page and carries the date we read it. The verdict is computed from published weightings, not written by us.

Worth knowing before you buy.
  • Two of their own pages give different numbers for the same cited study. The homepage chart reads '39% Re-read once / 54% Re-read twice / 81% Tested once' under 'Roediger & Karpicke, 2006 (n=120, simplified)', while their evidence page says 'the tested group recalled 61% of the material; the re-read group recalled 40%'. Both are verbatim. The identical chart and citation are served on an unrelated exam-prep brand running the same template, so this reads as shared boilerplate rather than a CCAO-F-specific claim.
  • The homepage's meta keywords and its JSON-LD target 'Claude Certified Associate mock exam' and 'Claude certification practice exam' - the only occurrences of the word 'mock' anywhere on the site - for a product that publishes no mock exam.
  • The header 'Sign in' link carries post_login_redirect_url=https%3A%2F%2Fcimapractice.co.uk%2Fen on 14 of the 24 pages fetched, so signing in redirects to an unrelated accountancy exam-prep brand. The site is a tenant on a shared multi-brand template, which is not disclosed anywhere on it.

What each one is better at

Where PassCCA.com (CCA Prep) is stronger

  • The published numbers reconcile, which is rare. The seven unit counts (273, 315, 225, 270, 225, 315, 225) sum to exactly the advertised 1,848, all 41 topics are enumerated with their own counts, and the topic counts inside a unit add up to that unit's total. We re-checked the arithmetic independently and could not break it.
  • 1,848 questions on a single certification, mapped to 7 units and 41 named topics, with a full explanation on every question. On per-exam volume for CCAO-F this is deeper than most of the field, including us.
  • The CCAO-F exam facts they publish line up with the official exam guide: all seven domain weightings (14/21/12/16/12/15/10), 60 items and 120 minutes.
  • Independence is disclosed everywhere it matters: the footer of every page, the homepage FAQ, the module FAQ, a disclaimer on every blog post and a clause in the Terms, with the operating company named as Morgan Brown Consultancy Ltd (UK).
  • The free domain is a real free tier and not a trial: 273 questions, no card, no expiry, and pricing above it is a single $9.99 monthly tier with one-click cancellation ('Cancel any time, one click. No retention call.').
  • The site renders no testimonials or reviews, and makes no endorsement or partner claim.
  • Team and operational readiness: scores 1/5 against our 0/5.

Where Cred Farmer is stronger

  • Mock-exam realism: we score 5/5 against their 0/5.
  • Certification coverage: we score 5/5 against their 2/5.
  • Structured learning: we score 4/5 against their 2/5.
  • Diagnostics and personalisation: we score 5/5 against their 3/5.
  • Retention system: we score 5/5 against their 4/5.
  • Value and access: we score 4/5 against their 3/5.

Full-length timed mocks20 full-length timed papers — five per certification, each at the real exam's item count and 120-minute clock (60 / 53 / 60 / 63 items). Four are scenario mock exams and the fifth is an objective mastery challenge at the same length. Note our own pages count these differently: /certifications says "four full mock exams per certification", which counts the mocks and not the mastery paper.

DiagnosticsObjective-level mastery tracking with weak-domain routing: a missed question feeds a targeted drill by objective, by domain, or from your own misses, ordered confidently-wrong first.

Readiness / adaptive pathA per-certification readiness score. Performance is 60% and preparation 40%, but an evidence gate caps the total: if your mock scores sit below the pass mark, preparation cannot lift you past "almost ready" however much you read. Only the first sitting of each distinct paper counts, drills and self-rated confidence are excluded, and a study section is only marked complete when you answer its checkpoint questions correctly — there is no "mark as complete" button.
Evidence

“Our readiness engine calculates a precise, real-time score based on your study history and mock test performance.”

Cred Farmer, read at https://credfarmer.com/ on 3 September 2026

A readiness score is a paid feature, alongside domain-mastery tracking and weak-spot drilling. Their own Terms define the score as an internal estimate derived from platform activity rather than a prediction of exam outcome. The shipped pricing bundle also carries a string for a Bayesian readiness score per module, which does not render on the pricing page.
Evidence

“Our readiness scores are an internal estimate based on your activity within the platform, not a prediction of any specific exam outcome.”

Which to choose

Choose PassCCA.com (CCA Prep) if…

  • You are sitting CCAO-F and nothing else, and want maximum drilling volume on that one exam: 1,848 questions, against roughly 300 per exam at Cred Farmer.
  • You want to drill one narrow topic rather than a whole domain. They publish 41 named topics each with its own question count, so you can work a single topic such as 'Anatomy of an Effective Prompt' on its own.
  • You want to see real worked questions and full explanations before creating any account: three explained samples sit on every unit page and a daily question is answerable on the homepage with no signup, where Cred Farmer puts everything behind a login.
  • You are buying for a cohort. They publish a cohort-licensing contact for firms, training providers and universities, so there is a route to a group purchase; Cred Farmer has no team offering whatsoever.

Choose Cred Farmer if…

  • You expect to sit more than one Claude certification and would rather not rebuild your study setup for each.
  • You have booked an exam and want an honest read on whether you would pass, from a score that will not flatter you for reading more.
  • You want spaced repetition and objective-level weak-area routing without paying for them.
  • You want the full preparation loop — study, timed mocks, retention and diagnosis — in one place rather than assembled from three free sites.

What PassCCA.com (CCA Prep) does not offer

  • Publishes no mock exam. No mock, full-length or timed-paper feature appears on any page, in the sitemap or in the shipped pricing bundle, and /en/exams, /en/mock-exams and /en/practice-exam all return 404, so the 60-question, 120-minute format cannot be rehearsed on the platform.
  • Covers one certification only. /en/modules/ccarf and /en/modules/ccdvf both return 404, so there is no CCAR-F, CCDV-F or CCAR-P material.
  • No flashcards. The word appears on none of the 24 pages fetched and /en/flashcards returns 404.
  • No lessons, chapters or written study guide: only per-question explanations and a seven-post blog, with /en/study returning 404. The module page is nonetheless titled 'Study Guide & Practice'.
  • No diagnostic or placement test; /en/diagnostic returns 404.
  • Practice requires an account, including the free 273-question domain. Only the homepage Question of the Day and three worked samples per unit page are reachable without signing up.
  • No self-serve team plan and no published team pricing; /en/teams returns 404 and cohort licensing is a mailto link.
  • Explanations are published per question, not per answer option.
  • Three of the seven blog posts carry future publication dates (7 September 2026, 21 September 2026 and 5 October 2026 as at 3 September 2026), and the blog credits all seven posts to 'CCA Prep Team' while the author page credits the same seven to a named individual.

Observable gaps in what the site publishes, not judgements about quality. We have run no blind review of anyone's questions, including our own, so nothing here compares how good the content is — only what each platform offers.

Common questions

Is PassCCA.com (CCA Prep) better than Cred Farmer?

Cred Farmer scores higher under every reader profile published here, but PassCCA.com (CCA Prep) still wins on specific criteria listed below. Under the balanced weighting, PassCCA.com (CCA Prep) scores 46 and Cred Farmer scores 82 out of 100. The weightings are published and adjustable, so the honest answer depends on which exam you are sitting and what you can spend.

Is this comparison independent?

No. Cred Farmer publishes it and is one of the two platforms in it. That is why the rubric is published, every figure links to PassCCA.com (CCA Prep)'s own pages with the date it was checked, and the verdict above is computed from those published weightings rather than written by us.

Is PassCCA.com (CCA Prep) an official Anthropic product?

No. Neither is Cred Farmer. Anthropic publishes the exam guides and Pearson VUE delivers the exams; every platform in this comparison is independent of both.

How current are these figures?

Everything here was read on PassCCA.com (CCA Prep)'s own site on 3 September 2026. Prices, question counts and free tiers change without notice — follow the source links before you rely on a figure, and email hello@credfarmer.com if you find one out of date.
