Cred Farmer publishes this comparison and is one of the two platforms in it. Every figure below links to CertSafari's own page and carries the date we read it. The verdict is computed from published weightings, not written by us.
- Their Exam experiences page publishes candidate reports that recount specific content from the proctored exam, down to named command-line flags. These are not unmoderated posts — the privacy policy states "Reports are reviewed before publishing." We do not reproduce the recalled content here. If your certification carries a confidentiality agreement, opening that page is a risk you should take knowingly rather than stumble into.
- They publish testimonials asserting overlap with real exam questions, which contradicts their own disclaimer. One reads: "My first advice: practice as much as you can on Certsafari. I encountered many questions very similar to what we have here." Another: "Quite a few of the real exam questions are also on practice websites." Their disclaimer says the opposite — "They are not official exam questions, and we do not claim that our questions will appear on actual certification exams." CertSafari does not make the overlap claim itself; it hosts and publishes it.
- The headline statistic on that page reads "20 experiences · 95% passed · 1 validated" — one report in twenty is credential-verified, and that single validated report is the site owner's own, on a non-Anthropic certification.
- The quiz-complete screen carries a donation ask rendered as a scored exam domain. Their 2 September 2026 announcement describes an extra domain row, "Donated to CertSafari", scored like any other domain, which appears after your third finished quiz for a certificate and flips to a green badge once you donate. A payment prompt dressed as a failed objective inside a score report is worth knowing about before you read your own results.
- Typed answers leave the site. The privacy policy states: "Grading is performed by OpenAI. Typed answers (never your account details) are shared with OpenAI and may be used by them to improve their models." That sits against the privacy-first positioning that is otherwise one of their real strengths.

- All four Claude certifications are covered on one site with substantial per-exam banks — 757 CCAO-F, 524 CCDV-F, 480 CCAR-F and 456 CCAR-P, 2,217 in total, with a further 664-question superseded CCAO-F bank still live and practiceable.
- There is no login wall to work around because there is no login: practice starts immediately, and progress still syncs between devices by copying an anonymous ID. Their own FAQ puts it as "no signup required (or possible)".
- Everything is free with no paywall and no ads — "No ads, no paywall, just me paying the bills." — with donations optional rather than gating anything.
- Freshness and provenance are dated and published per certification: the exam-guide version on every certification page, a last-checked date (August 29th, 2026 on CCAO-F), a stated 3-week update cadence, AI generation openly disclosed with a judge-LLM cross-check, and a report-a-question route whose reports are re-grounded daily against published documentation.
- Progress is measured and named rather than vibes-based: Coverage, Mastery and Performance per certification, with an expandable per-domain breakdown, a saved-questions page and a study-notes page for each exam.
- They publish dated, scored candidate outcome reports including ones that criticise their own product — one CCAR-P report reads "Unfortunately, the mock exam here doesn't match the content that actually appears on the exam." Publishing that is a real credibility signal.

Which to choose
Choose CertSafari if…
- You want to start practising in the next thirty seconds without creating anything. Cred Farmer is free but makes you sign in; CertSafari has no account to make, and progress still follows you to another device.
- You will not hand an email address or an OAuth grant to a study tool. Their whole model is an anonymous ID with no email, no name and no tracking cookies — we cannot offer you that.
- You have already worked through a few hundred questions per exam and simply need more volume. They publish 757 CCAO-F, 524 CCDV-F, 480 CCAR-F and 456 CCAR-P against our roughly 300 per exam, so if repetition is your problem their bank is the larger one.
- You want to practise typing free-text answers rather than picking options. Their open-answer mode grades typed responses, and they also ship ordering and matching items. We do not have a free-text mode. Note their privacy policy: typed answers are sent to OpenAI for grading.
Choose Cred Farmer if…
- You expect to sit more than one Claude certification and would rather not rebuild your study setup for each.
- You have booked an exam and want an honest read on whether you would pass, from a score that will not flatter you for reading more.
- You want spaced repetition and objective-level weak-area routing without paying for them.
- You want the full preparation loop — study, timed mocks, retention and diagnosis — in one place rather than assembled from three free sites.
What CertSafari does not offer
- Publishes no timed, fixed-length mock exam: the launcher exposes no exam-length control and no timer, and the app has no exam-simulation route.
- No flashcards and no spaced repetition — neither appears on any page, in the published feature list, in the announcements log back to December 2024, or in the shipped JavaScript bundles.
- No lessons, articles, videos or written study guides; the 315-URL sitemap contains no /study, /blog, /guides or /lessons path, and study material is a link out to the vendor's own guide.
- No adaptive difficulty; the only algorithm the site claims is removing duplicate questions within a quiz session.
- Diagnostics stop at domain level — no objective-level diagnosis and no generated study plan.
- No team, organisation, seat, admin or shared-reporting features of any kind.
Observable gaps in what the site publishes, not judgements about quality. We have run no blind review of anyone's questions, including our own, so nothing here compares how good the content is — only what each platform offers.
