Head to head

Cred Farmer vs ClaudeArchitectCertification.com: which should you use?

Cred Farmer scores higher under every reader profile published here, but ClaudeArchitectCertification.com still wins on specific criteria listed below.

Cred Farmer publishes this comparison and is one of the two platforms in it. Every figure below links to ClaudeArchitectCertification.com's own page and carries the date we read it. The verdict is computed from published weightings, not written by us.

Worth knowing before you buy.
  • The methodology page lists, among the four inputs behind its study content, material no reader can check: partner-programme material it describes as "internal briefings on what beta-cohort candidates struggled with". This is an assertion of privileged access to candidate-difficulty signal, not a claim about question content. The site makes no claim anywhere to hold real or recalled exam items, and names exam dumps as a warning sign of a site to avoid.

Who wins, by what you need

Each row is that profile's published weighting applied to both platforms' criterion scores. Nothing here is hand-assigned — change the weights and the winners change.

What each one is better at

Where ClaudeArchitectCertification.com is stronger

  • Free with a genuine try-before-signup path rather than a trial: the site states "There is no paid tier today", and the 4-question sample, the 10-question diagnostic and the 15-question warm-up all run with no account, so a visitor can measure their own weakest domain before handing over an email address.
  • 532 questions wired to the published CCA-F blueprint weights (27/18/20/20/15), with the mock scored to 1000 against the real 720 cut rather than a friendlier internal bar. It is the largest bank the site publishes for any of its four certifications.
  • Study depth well beyond a question bank: 71 concept pages, 25 production scenarios, a 23-page knowledge pillar of 13 course mirrors plus 10 deep dives, six courses, 8 anti-patterns, 2 cheatsheets and 3 downloadable posters, plus 2/4/8-week plans selected by diagnostic score, all readable without signing in.
  • The spaced-repetition scheduler is published in full rather than described as proprietary, down to the six-hour floor and the one-year cap, so you can predict when any card returns.
  • Independence and authorship are disclosed rather than glossed over: a trademark and non-affiliation footer on every page fetched, the author named with his role and employer, and his employer's commercial relationship with Anthropic disclosed as a potential conflict.

Where Cred Farmer is stronger

  • Certification coverage: we score 5/5 against their 4/5.
  • Mock-exam realism: we score 5/5 against their 4/5.
  • Diagnostics and personalisation: we score 5/5 against their 4/5.

Certifications coveredAll four: CCAO-F, CCDV-F, CCAR-F and CCAR-P, in one account, with a study guide, question bank, mocks and flashcards for each.
Evidence

“Study guides mapped to every domain, four full mock exams per certification, spaced-repetition flashcards, and a readiness score that tracks you per domain.”

All four Claude certifications, each with its own hub at /certifications/{ccar-f,ccar-p,ccdv-f,ccao-f} carrying an exam guide, diagnostic, warm-up and mock. The site brands the Architect Foundations exam CCA-F (it states Anthropic's exam code is CCAR-F) and tags it "Flagship · largest bank".
Evidence

“It is also the home base for the full Claude certification hub: all four Anthropic Claude certifications - Architect (Foundations and Professional), Developer, and Associate.”

Practice questions1,180 across the four banks — 300 CCAO-F, 265 CCDV-F, 300 CCAR-F, 315 CCAR-P. Roughly 300 per exam, which is mid-table here rather than the deepest bank.
Evidence

“1,180 Practice questions”

532 questions in the CCA-F (CCAR-F) bank, stratified across its five domains at the published weights: Agentic Architectures 27%, Claude Code Configuration & Workflows 20%, Prompt Engineering 20%, Tool Design and Integration 18%, Context and Reliability 15%. This is the largest bank size the site publishes for any of its four certifications; no bank size is published for CCA-P, CCD-F or CCA-A.
Evidence

“532 questions across all five exam domains. No login to start.”

71 concept pages across the four certifications, 30 of them in the CCA-F syllabus, alongside 25 production scenarios, a 23-page Knowledge pillar (13 lessons mirroring Anthropic's own course material plus 10 deep dives), six courses, a reference layer of 8 anti-patterns, 2 cheatsheets and 3 downloadable posters, a glossary, three calibrated study plans (2-, 4- and 8-week), and machine-readable corpora at /llms-full.txt and /llms-small.txt with per-page .md twins. All of it reads without an account.
Evidence

“71 concepts all four certifications · 30 in the CCA-F syllabus”

Full-length timed mocks20 full-length timed papers — five per certification, each at the real exam's item count and 120-minute clock (60 / 53 / 60 / 63 items). Four are scenario mock exams and the fifth is an objective mastery challenge at the same length. Note our own pages count these differently: /certifications says "four full mock exams per certification", which counts the mocks and not the mastery paper.
Evidence

“20 Timed mock exams”

Cred Farmer, read at https://credfarmer.com/ on 3 September 2026

A mock of 30 or 60 questions (~45-90 min), stratified to the CCA-F blueprint weights and server-scored to 1000 against the real 720 pass mark, followed by a results audit and a generated study plan. The 60-question form matches the real CCA-F item count. Three lifetime attempts, server-enforced, with the homepage adding "3 free attempts, more with XP". A free account is required; the 4-question sample, 10-question diagnostic and 15-question warm-up are not gated.
Evidence

“Yes. The mock runs 30 or 60 questions stratified to the official CCA-F blueprint weights, scored to 1000 with the real 720 pass mark, followed by a full results audit and a 4-week study plan. A free account unlocks 3 lifetime mock attempts; the 4-question sample and 10-question diagnostic need no account at all.”

FlashcardsYes — a 120-card rapid-recall deck per certification, served through a spaced-repetition drill rather than as a static list.
Evidence

“Flashcard drills resurface each concept right before you'd forget it.”

Cred Farmer, read at https://credfarmer.com/ on 3 September 2026

Yes, free, covering all four certifications, one fact per card drawn from the concept library and weighted towards exam traps rather than definitions. A dedicated explainer page at /flashcards-guide shows three sample cards before signup, but the tool itself needs a free account because the scheduler stores your answers.
Evidence

“Facts drawn from the concept library across all 4 Claude certifications - Architect Foundations and Professional, Developer, and Associate. Each card is one fact, taken from a concept page, weighted towards the traps that catch people in the exam rather than definitions you could guess.”

ClaudeArchitectCertification.com, read at https://claudearchitectcertification.com/flashcards-guide on 3 September 2026

Spaced repetitionYes — an SM-2 scheduler, scheduling each card individually from a four-way rating, with lapses requeued inside the same session.
Evidence

“Study guides mapped to every domain, four full mock exams per certification, spaced-repetition flashcards, and a readiness score that tracks you per domain.”

Cred Farmer, read at https://credfarmer.com/certifications on 3 September 2026

Yes, scheduling each card individually, with the algorithm published in full rather than described as proprietary: new cards start at about a day, the interval doubles on a correct answer and halves on a wrong one, cards return at about 50% estimated recall, the interval floors at six hours and caps at a year. Grading is deliberately two-button right/wrong; the site explains why it dropped four-grade difficulty buttons.
Evidence

“Answer it right and the interval doubles; answer it wrong and it halves. A card comes back when the system estimates your chance of recalling it has fallen to about 50% - the point where a review is worth doing, because recalling something you already know solidly teaches you nothing. New cards start at about a day; the interval floors at six hours and is capped at a year.”

DiagnosticsObjective-level mastery tracking with weak-domain routing: a missed question feeds a targeted drill by objective, by domain, or from your own misses, ordered confidently-wrong first.
Evidence

“Study guides mapped to every domain, four full mock exams per certification, spaced-repetition flashcards, and a readiness score that tracks you per domain.”

Cred Farmer, read at https://credfarmer.com/certifications on 3 September 2026

A 10-question diagnostic stratified across the exam domains, no signup, returning your single weakest domain plus concept links and a study route; anonymous results save to a browser session. Per-cert quick-check and warm-up routes exist for the other three certifications. The published duration is inconsistent: the practice page says about 10 minutes, while the homepage labels the same step 20 minutes.
Evidence

“Find your weakest domain in about 10 minutes and get a personalized study plan.”

ClaudeArchitectCertification.com, read at https://claudearchitectcertification.com/practice on 3 September 2026

Readiness / adaptive pathA per-certification readiness score. Performance is 60% and preparation 40%, but an evidence gate caps the total: if your mock scores sit below the pass mark, preparation cannot lift you past "almost ready" however much you read. Only the first sitting of each distinct paper counts, drills and self-rated confidence are excluded, and a study section is only marked complete when you answer its checkpoint questions correctly — there is no "mark as complete" button.
Evidence

“Our readiness engine calculates a precise, real-time score based on your study history and mock test performance.”

Cred Farmer, read at https://credfarmer.com/ on 3 September 2026

An adaptive 2-, 4- or 8-week plan is generated from the specific misconceptions in your mock, alongside server-tracked concept mastery gated on dwell time, correct practice and completed mocks, and mock scores tracked against the 720 bar. No named numeric readiness score is published. The site states on each of the three non-flagship certification hubs that the adaptive plan and progress tracking are CCA-F-only today.
Evidence

“The adaptive study plan and progress tracking are CCA-F-only for now; everything else runs the same engine as CCA-F.”

Free tierEverything is free during open beta — all four certifications, every study section, every mock and every drill. An account is required.
Evidence

“Right now, Cred Farmer is completely free while we are in open beta.”

Cred Farmer, read at https://credfarmer.com/faq on 3 September 2026

No paid tier for the prep path. With no account at all: the 4-question sample, 10-question diagnostic, 15-question warm-up and every concept, scenario, knowledge, reference and exam-guide page. With a free account and no credit card: the 30/60-question mock (3 lifetime attempts), flashcards, adaptive study plan, progress tracking, weekly league and badges. One exception the site leaves unresolved is on its competitions page, which says eleven of the twelve weekly competitions cost nothing without stating what the twelfth costs.
Evidence

“There is no paid tier today. Sign-up unlocks the full stack below; the diagnostic is open to anonymous visitors so you can validate the platform before deciding.”

ClaudeArchitectCertification.com, read at https://claudearchitectcertification.com/ on 3 September 2026

Price$0 while in open beta. No paid tier is published, and no pricing is announced for after the beta.
Evidence

“Free while in open beta.”

Cred Farmer, read at https://credfarmer.com/certifications on 3 September 2026

$0. No paid tier exists for the prep platform, confirmed on the homepage, the practice page and the free-path page. The site discloses a future intention to sell larger mock-attempt packs while keeping the core path free. Separately it quotes Anthropic's proctored exam fees, which are paid to Anthropic rather than to this site.
Evidence

“No catch today: every practice mode, the study plan, and all 532 questions are free. Larger paid attempt packs are planned for people who want more than 3 mock attempts, but the core prep path - diagnostic, plan, concepts, scenarios, mock - stays free.”

ClaudeArchitectCertification.com, read at https://claudearchitectcertification.com/claude-certification/free on 3 September 2026

Account requiredYes for study, practice and mocks — a free account via Google or GitHub sign-in. The blog, the certification guides and this comparison are open with no account.
Evidence

“To maximize security, we only use OAuth (Google and GitHub).”

Cred Farmer, read at https://credfarmer.com/faq on 3 September 2026

Partial. No account for the 4-question sample, the 10-question diagnostic, the 15-question warm-up and all reading content. A free account (email or Google, no credit card) for the full mock, flashcards, adaptive study plan, saved results, streak and weekly league.
Evidence

“No account is needed for the 4-question sample or the 10-question diagnostic - both are free and give instant explanations. A free account (no credit card) unlocks the full mock exam with 3 lifetime attempts, saved results, a streak, and a personalized 4-week study plan.”

Present and unambiguous. A trademark and non-affiliation notice sits in the site-wide footer on every page fetched (16 of 16 on re-verification, including all four certification hubs). The methodology page names the author, Manikandan Jeeva, VP of Data, AI & Analytics at Genpact, and discloses his employer's commercial relationship with Anthropic as a potential conflict rather than concealing it. Which to choose

Choose ClaudeArchitectCertification.com if…

  • You want to test yourself before handing over an email address. Their 4-question sample, 10-question diagnostic and 15-question warm-up all run anonymously, and every concept, scenario and exam-guide page reads without signing in. Cred Farmer puts a login in front of all of its practice.
  • You have already worked through one CCAR-F question bank and want a second, independently written one at the same blueprint weights. 532 questions stratified 27/18/20/20/15 gives you items you have not already memorised, at no cost.
  • You want reference material away from the screen: they publish three downloadable posters and an eight-item anti-pattern layer alongside the concept library, where Cred Farmer's study material is on-screen only.
  • You want short, repeatable check-ins rather than full papers while you are still learning the syllabus. Their diagnostic and warm-up are unmetered and ungated, whereas the full mock is where the three-attempt cap bites.

Choose Cred Farmer if…

  • You expect to sit more than one Claude certification and would rather not rebuild your study setup for each.
  • You have booked an exam and want an honest read on whether you would pass, from a score that will not flatter you for reading more.
  • You want spaced repetition and objective-level weak-area routing without paying for them.
  • You want the full preparation loop — study, timed mocks, retention and diagnosis — in one place rather than assembled from three free sites.

What ClaudeArchitectCertification.com does not offer

  • No team, seat, cohort, bulk-licence, manager-dashboard or org-admin surface exists; /teams, /business, /enterprise, /pricing and /plans all return 404.
  • The adaptive study plan and progress tracking are CCA-F-only by the site's own statement, so CCA-P, CCD-F and CCA-A users get diagnostic, warm-up and mock without the adaptive plan or mastery tracking.
  • Mock attempts are capped at three lifetime and server-enforced, with further attempts earnable through XP and larger paid attempt packs disclosed as planned. Unlimited full-length mock practice is not available today.
  • A question-bank size is published for CCA-F only (532). No item count is published for CCA-P, CCD-F or CCA-A, so the depth behind those three mocks cannot be established from the site.
  • Flashcards require a free account with no anonymous mode, unlike the sample, diagnostic and warm-up.
  • No last-reviewed date is rendered on any HTML page, although the methodology page states a 60-day review cadence. Dates appear only in /llms-full.txt and /llms-small.txt, where 196 of 218 entries are more than 60 days old as of 2026-09-03.
  • The published duration for the 10-question diagnostic differs between pages: the practice page says about 10 minutes, the homepage labels the same step 20 minutes.

Observable gaps in what the site publishes, not judgements about quality. We have run no blind review of anyone's questions, including our own, so nothing here compares how good the content is — only what each platform offers.

Common questions

Is ClaudeArchitectCertification.com better than Cred Farmer?

Cred Farmer scores higher under every reader profile published here, but ClaudeArchitectCertification.com still wins on specific criteria listed below. Under the balanced weighting, ClaudeArchitectCertification.com scores 73 and Cred Farmer scores 82 out of 100. The weightings are published and adjustable, so the honest answer depends on which exam you are sitting and what you can spend.

Is this comparison independent?

No. Cred Farmer publishes it and is one of the two platforms in it. That is why the rubric is published, every figure links to ClaudeArchitectCertification.com's own pages with the date it was checked, and the verdict above is computed from those published weightings rather than written by us.

Is ClaudeArchitectCertification.com an official Anthropic product?

No. Neither is Cred Farmer. Anthropic publishes the exam guides and Pearson VUE delivers the exams; every platform in this comparison is independent of both.

How current are these figures?

Everything here was read on ClaudeArchitectCertification.com's own site on 3 September 2026. Prices, question counts and free tiers change without notice — follow the source links before you rely on a figure, and email hello@credfarmer.com if you find one out of date.
