Head to head

Cred Farmer vs ClaudeMockExams: which should you use?

Cred Farmer scores higher under every reader profile published here, but ClaudeMockExams still wins on specific criteria listed below.

Cred Farmer publishes this comparison and is one of the two platforms in it. Every figure below links to ClaudeMockExams's own page and carries the date we read it. The verdict is computed from published weightings, not written by us.

Worth knowing before you buy.
  • The site publishes three mutually exclusive sizes for the same CCAR-F bank. /about says "2,710 practice questions across 4 certifications", a total computed from a CCAR-F figure of 1,207, while three more recently updated pages say the bank is 1,042 — for example "Our platform at claudemockexams.com mirrors the real CCAR-F blueprint with 1,042 scenario-based questions across all five domains" — and the study guide says "1000+". If 1,042 is the current figure, the published 2,710 total is stale as well; either way a buyer cannot tell which number they are paying for.
  • The free-account allowance is published two different ways. /register says "Start with 15 free practice questions" and the CCAR-F comparison page says "/register unlocks 15 free practice questions, three per domain", while /pricing says "Practice mode, unlimited, 20 questions a sitting, on a free account." The two cannot both be true, and you cannot find out which is without creating an account.

Who wins, by what you need

Each row is that profile's published weighting applied to both platforms' criterion scores. Nothing here is hand-assigned — change the weights and the winners change.

What each one is better at

Where ClaudeMockExams is stronger

  • 106 complete practice questions, spread across all four certifications, are readable with no account, no card and no paywall, each with the correct answer and a written explanation — one of the largest ungated samples of any platform on this page.
  • A single $24.99 payment covers all four certification banks for life, with no subscription, no renewal and no expiry, and adding another bank later costs nothing extra.
  • The team offer is real infrastructure rather than a contact form: a published five-band seat table down to $9 a seat, a live quote calculator, purchase-order invoicing and bank transfer, transferable named seats, and five free seats as a pilot before anyone pays.
  • Every blueprint domain of every certification has its own free explainer page (27 in total), and each certification landing page publishes the full exam-facts table — item count, time limit, scoring scale, pass mark, fee, validity, attempt limits and retake waits — outside the paywall.
  • The site refuses the leaked-content pitch in its own words: asked whether it sells questions taken from the live exam, it answers "No, and anyone selling those is selling something stolen." There are no testimonials, star ratings or review counts anywhere on it.
  • Team and operational readiness: scores 2/5 against our 0/5.

Where Cred Farmer is stronger

  • Retention system: we score 5/5 against their 0/5.
  • Mock-exam realism: we score 5/5 against their 3/5.
  • Diagnostics and personalisation: we score 5/5 against their 3/5.
  • Structured learning: we score 4/5 against their 3/5.

Certifications coveredAll four: CCAO-F, CCDV-F, CCAR-F and CCAR-P, in one account, with a study guide, question bank, mocks and flashcards for each.
Evidence

“Study guides mapped to every domain, four full mock exams per certification, spaced-repetition flashcards, and a readiness score that tracks you per domain.”

Cred Farmer, read at https://credfarmer.com/certifications on 3 September 2026

All four Claude certifications under a single payment: CCAO-F, CCDV-F, CCAR-P and CCAR-F. Each has its own landing page with a domain-weighting table, its own free sample-question page, its own question bank and its own timed simulation.
Evidence

“A single payment for all 4 certification banks: CCAO-F, CCDV-F, CCAR-P, CCAR-F.”

ClaudeMockExams, read at https://claudemockexams.com/pricing on 3 September 2026

Practice questions1,180 across the four banks — 300 CCAO-F, 265 CCDV-F, 300 CCAR-F, 315 CCAR-P. Roughly 300 per exam, which is mid-table here rather than the deepest bank.
Evidence

“1,180 Practice questions”

Cred Farmer, read at https://credfarmer.com/ on 3 September 2026

Published, but the site contradicts itself. /about gives a headline total of 2,710 with a per-certification breakdown of 500 (CCAO-F), 503 (CCDV-F), 500 (CCAR-P) and 1,207 (CCAR-F). Three more recently updated pages instead say the CCAR-F bank is 1,042, and the CCAR-F study guide says "1000+". The 2,710 total is computed from the 1,207 figure, so the total moves with whichever CCAR-F number is current. Read the roughly-500-per-certification figures as published; treat the CCAR-F bank size and the total as unresolved.
Evidence

“2,710 practice questions across 4 certifications.”

Study material119 study sections mapped to the published exam objectives, plus ten written hands-on labs and a 120-card rapid-recall deck per certification. Written material only — no video and no instructor.
Evidence

“119 Study sections”

Cred Farmer, read at https://credfarmer.com/ on 3 September 2026

Substantial free written material outside the paywall. One explainer page for every blueprint domain of every certification — 27 in total (CCAO-F 7, CCDV-F 8, CCAR-P 7, CCAR-F 5), counted from the sitemap — plus 8 concept explainers (agents vs workflows, MCP vs tool use, RAG vs long context, prompt caching vs batch, and similar). Each of the four certification landing pages also publishes a complete exam-facts table outside the paywall: item count, time limit, scoring scale, pass mark, exam fee, 12-month validity, attempts per rolling year and retake waits, with the full domain weightings. CCAR-F additionally has a study guide, an exam-format page, a how-to-pass page and a six-week study plan; the other three certifications have none of those. No video, no course, no instructor.
Evidence

“This guide covers all 5 domains with their official exam weights.”

ClaudeMockExams, read at https://claudemockexams.com/architect-foundations/study-guide on 3 September 2026

Full-length timed mocks20 full-length timed papers — five per certification, each at the real exam's item count and 120-minute clock (60 / 53 / 60 / 63 items). Four are scenario mock exams and the fifth is an objective mastery challenge at the same length. Note our own pages count these differently: /certifications says "four full mock exams per certification", which counts the mocks and not the mastery paper.
Evidence

“20 Timed mock exams”

Cred Farmer, read at https://credfarmer.com/ on 3 September 2026

"Official mode" is described as a full timed simulation at each certification's real item count and time limit (CCAO-F 60 questions in 120 minutes, CCDV-F 53/120, CCAR-P 63/120, CCAR-F 60/120), available for all four certifications behind the $24.99 payment. The scaled 100-1000 score and the 720 pass mark are published on the four certification landing pages and on the CCAR-F exam-format page, not on the pricing page. How many distinct papers exist per certification is not published, and the mode itself sits behind the paywall, so its behaviour is the vendor's description rather than something observable from outside.
Evidence

“Official mode: the full timed simulation at each exam's real question count and time limit, scored the way the exam scores it.”

ClaudeMockExams, read at https://claudemockexams.com/pricing on 3 September 2026

FlashcardsYes — a 120-card rapid-recall deck per certification, served through a spaced-repetition drill rather than as a static list.
Evidence

“Flashcard drills resurface each concept right before you'd forget it.”

Cred Farmer, read at https://credfarmer.com/ on 3 September 2026

No flashcard feature is offered. Flashcards appear in neither the free nor the paid feature list, and no flashcard tool exists anywhere on the site. The word appears only in prose arguing against flashcard-style prep as a contrast to the site's own scenario questions.
Evidence

“You will not develop it in untimed flashcard mode.”

ClaudeMockExams, read at https://claudemockexams.com/architect-foundations/best-cca-f-practice-exams on 3 September 2026

Spaced repetitionYes — an SM-2 scheduler, scheduling each card individually from a four-way rating, with lapses requeued inside the same session.
Evidence

“Study guides mapped to every domain, four full mock exams per certification, spaced-repetition flashcards, and a readiness score that tracks you per domain.”

Cred Farmer, read at https://credfarmer.com/certifications on 3 September 2026

No spaced-repetition, review-scheduling or mistakes-deck feature is offered in either tier. The phrase appears once on the entire site, as study-sequencing advice inside the static six-week study plan article, not as a product capability.
Evidence

“means that domain has the longest spaced-repetition window before exam day”

ClaudeMockExams, read at https://claudemockexams.com/architect-foundations/claude-certified-architect-study-plan on 3 September 2026

DiagnosticsObjective-level mastery tracking with weak-domain routing: a missed question feeds a targeted drill by objective, by domain, or from your own misses, ordered confidently-wrong first.
Evidence

“Study guides mapped to every domain, four full mock exams per certification, spaced-repetition flashcards, and a readiness score that tracks you per domain.”

Cred Farmer, read at https://credfarmer.com/certifications on 3 September 2026

No named diagnostic, placement test or readiness assessment. The paid tier includes "Domain mode", a 15-question drill from a single blueprint domain, which is the routing mechanism from a weak area to targeted practice. Per-domain reporting appears as a "Domain Mastery" panel and a "Score Trajectory" panel inside the product mockup on the homepage; both labels appear only there and are described in prose nowhere on the site. The only thing the site itself calls a diagnostic is study advice — sit the free samples cold in week one.
Evidence

“Domain mode: 15 questions drawn from one blueprint domain, for the section you keep losing marks in.”

ClaudeMockExams, read at https://claudemockexams.com/pricing on 3 September 2026

Readiness / adaptive pathA per-certification readiness score. Performance is 60% and preparation 40%, but an evidence gate caps the total: if your mock scores sit below the pass mark, preparation cannot lift you past "almost ready" however much you read. Only the first sitting of each distinct paper counts, drills and self-rated confidence are excluded, and a study section is only marked complete when you answer its checkpoint questions correctly — there is no "mark as complete" button.
Evidence

“Our readiness engine calculates a precise, real-time score based on your study history and mock test performance.”

Cred Farmer, read at https://credfarmer.com/ on 3 September 2026

No readiness score, pass-probability estimate or generated study plan is published; the six-week plan is a static article, identical for every reader. "Adaptive difficulty" is claimed exactly once site-wide, on the CCAR-F study-guide page, and appears in neither the pricing feature list nor /about, so it is not corroborated as a product feature anywhere else on the site.
Evidence

“1000+ practice questions with adaptive difficulty and detailed explanations.”

ClaudeMockExams, read at https://claudemockexams.com/architect-foundations/study-guide on 3 September 2026

Free tierEverything is free during open beta — all four certifications, every study section, every mock and every drill. An account is required.
Evidence

“Right now, Cred Farmer is completely free while we are in open beta.”

Cred Farmer, read at https://credfarmer.com/faq on 3 September 2026

One of the largest ungated free tiers in this segment. 106 complete practice questions are readable with no account and no card — CCAO-F 28, CCDV-F 30, CCAR-P 28, CCAR-F 20 — each with the correct answer and a written explanation, alongside the free written material (a page per blueprint domain for all four certifications, 8 concept explainers, and a full exam-facts table on each certification landing page). A free account adds practice mode, but the site publishes two different allowances for it: /pricing says unlimited 20-question sittings while /register says 15 free practice questions, and that cannot be resolved from outside an account. Everything else — the timed simulation, domain mode and the larger practice sittings up to 100 questions — is behind the one-off payment.
Evidence

“The sample questions for every certification, readable without an account.”

ClaudeMockExams, read at https://claudemockexams.com/pricing on 3 September 2026

Price$0 while in open beta. No paid tier is published, and no pricing is announced for after the beta.
Evidence

“Free while in open beta.”

Cred Farmer, read at https://credfarmer.com/certifications on 3 September 2026

$24.99 one-time in USD for lifetime access to all four certification banks. No subscription, no renewal and no expiry, and adding another bank later costs nothing extra. All sales are final — no refunds.
Evidence

“$24.99 one-time, USD”

ClaudeMockExams, read at https://claudemockexams.com/pricing on 3 September 2026

Account requiredYes for study, practice and mocks — a free account via Google or GitHub sign-in. The blog, the certification guides and this comparison are open with no account.
Evidence

“To maximize security, we only use OAuth (Google and GitHub).”

Cred Farmer, read at https://credfarmer.com/faq on 3 September 2026

Three tiers. Sample questions for all four certifications need no account and no card. A free email-and-password account unlocks practice mode — the allowance for it is published inconsistently, as unlimited 20-question sittings on /pricing and as 15 free practice questions on /register. The timed simulation and domain mode require the $24.99 payment. No OAuth options are offered on /register; email and password only.
Evidence

“Practice mode, unlimited, 20 questions a sitting, on a free account.”

ClaudeMockExams, read at https://claudemockexams.com/pricing on 3 September 2026

Team supportNot publishedA developed team offer. The /teams page publishes a five-band seat table — 1-4 seats $24.99, 5-14 $19, 15-49 $15, 50-199 $11, 200+ from $9 — with a live quote calculator on the form; the sentence quoted here is the shorter statement of it on /pricing. One seat covers all four banks, and seats are named but transferable. Purchase-order invoicing and bank transfer are accepted with no sales call, and a five-seat pilot is offered free before any purchase. No cohort dashboard, manager view or group progress reporting is published anywhere on the site.
Evidence

“From 5 seats the rate drops to $19 per person, and larger bands go lower. We invoice against a purchase order and accept bank transfer, so nobody has to expense a team purchase personally.”

ClaudeMockExams, read at https://claudemockexams.com/pricing on 3 September 2026

States independence from AnthropicYes — stated in the footer of every page and repeated on the certification pages.
Evidence

“Not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Anthropic or Pearson VUE.”

Cred Farmer, read at https://credfarmer.com/ on 3 September 2026

Disclosed site-wide, though in three different wordings rather than one. Every page footer carries "Not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic.", the homepage hero says "Independent practice platform, not affiliated with Anthropic.", and /about states it most fully, as quoted. /about also names the operator (6soft) and publishes a support address, and the CCAR-F comparison article discloses upfront that it is published by one of the products being compared.
Evidence

“Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Anthropic.”

Which to choose

Choose ClaudeMockExams if…

  • You are buying for a team. They publish a five-band seat table down to $9 a seat, invoice against a purchase order, accept bank transfer and give you five free seats as a pilot first. Cred Farmer has no team purchasing of any kind — team is the one criterion where we score zero and they do not.
  • You want to read real practice questions before you hand over an email address. 106 of them, with explanations, plus a page per blueprint domain, are readable with no account at all. Cred Farmer is free but puts everything behind a login.
  • You are sitting CCAR-F. It is the certification they have built out furthest — the largest bank on the site plus a study guide, an exam-format breakdown, a how-to-pass page and a six-week study plan that the other three certifications do not get.
  • You want more practice per certification than Cred Farmer publishes. Their banks run around 500 questions for each of CCAO-F, CCDV-F and CCAR-P, against roughly 300 per exam here, and one $24.99 payment covers all four with no subscription to renew or cancel.

Choose Cred Farmer if…

  • You expect to sit more than one Claude certification and would rather not rebuild your study setup for each.
  • You have booked an exam and want an honest read on whether you would pass, from a score that will not flatter you for reading more.
  • You want spaced repetition and objective-level weak-area routing without paying for them.
  • You want the full preparation loop — study, timed mocks, retention and diagnosis — in one place rather than assembled from three free sites.

What ClaudeMockExams does not offer

  • No flashcards, no spaced repetition and no scheduled review — none of them appears in the free or the paid feature list.
  • No recorded video, no live instructor, no cohort and no classroom delivery; the site states this about itself.
  • No published readiness score or pass-probability estimate, and the six-week study plan is a static article rather than a plan generated from your results.
  • The timed simulation, domain mode and the larger practice sittings are all behind the one-time payment, and all sales are final — there are no refunds.
  • No cohort dashboard, manager view or group progress reporting is published: the team offer is seat purchasing, not visibility into how a group is doing.
  • The study guide, exam-format page, how-to-pass page and six-week plan exist for CCAR-F only; the other three certifications get their question bank, timed simulation, ungated samples, domain explainers and exam-facts table, but none of those written extras.
  • No OAuth sign-in — the free account is email and password only.

Observable gaps in what the site publishes, not judgements about quality. We have run no blind review of anyone's questions, including our own, so nothing here compares how good the content is — only what each platform offers.

Common questions

Is ClaudeMockExams better than Cred Farmer?

Cred Farmer scores higher under every reader profile published here, but ClaudeMockExams still wins on specific criteria listed below. Under the balanced weighting, ClaudeMockExams scores 64 and Cred Farmer scores 82 out of 100. The weightings are published and adjustable, so the honest answer depends on which exam you are sitting and what you can spend.

Is this comparison independent?

No. Cred Farmer publishes it and is one of the two platforms in it. That is why the rubric is published, every figure links to ClaudeMockExams's own pages with the date it was checked, and the verdict above is computed from those published weightings rather than written by us.

Is ClaudeMockExams an official Anthropic product?

No. Neither is Cred Farmer. Anthropic publishes the exam guides and Pearson VUE delivers the exams; every platform in this comparison is independent of both.

How current are these figures?

Everything here was read on ClaudeMockExams's own site on 3 September 2026. Prices, question counts and free tiers change without notice — follow the source links before you rely on a figure, and email hello@credfarmer.com if you find one out of date.
