About the product

# Serious certification prep. A progress system that feels alive.

Cred Farmer is an independent study site for the four Claude Certified exams (CCAO-F, CCDV-F, CCAR-F and CCAR-P): free study guides, mock exams and a readiness score. It is not affiliated with Anthropic or Pearson VUE, it does not issue the credentials, and it does not reproduce live exam questions.

The product uses a farming metaphor for the work of getting certified: you plant a study plan, tend it with study sections and practice tests, and harvest a real credential once you have earned it.

At a glance

## Cred Farmer in brief

What it is

An independent study site for Anthropic's four Claude Certified exams, with a study guide, timed mock exams, flashcards and a readiness score for each.

Exams covered

CCAO-F (Claude Certified Associate - Foundations), CCDV-F (Claude Certified Developer - Foundations), CCAR-F (Claude Certified Architect - Foundations), CCAR-P (Claude Certified Architect - Professional).

Price

Everything on Cred Farmer is free. There is no paid tier.

No account needed

One free timed mock exam per certification, a study guide on each certification page, flashcards, the blog and the platform comparison.

With a free account

A free account, with Google or GitHub sign-in, adds the full study guides, the full set of timed mock exams, drills and readiness tracking.

Readiness score

Readiness is a practice-based study signal built from timed practice answers. It is not a validated prediction of passing the exam.

Independence

Not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Anthropic or Pearson VUE. Cred Farmer does not issue the credentials and does not reproduce live exam questions.

How the four sections fit together

## Plant a plan, tend it, harvest a credential.

The core experience is familiar: study the guide, take timed mock tests the same length as the real exam, review the objectives that still need work, and track how ready you are. The farming language just makes that progress visible.

01

**Study**

Structured sections and flashcards covering every exam domain, for whichever certification you pick.

02

**Practice**

Full-length timed mock tests with the real exam's question count and time limit and a reason for every option. We write the questions ourselves, and their difficulty is not calibrated against the real exam.

03

**Progress**

A readiness score that is Exam-ready at 90. Your first sitting of each practice form, guided or timed, sets its band. Study path progress, objective coverage and your streak move the score within that band, never past it. Drills, re-sits and the diagnostic never count as evidence.

04

**Dashboard**

Tracks each certification's streak and readiness, and stores the ones you have earned.

Editorial standards

## How we check what we publish

Every prep page on Cred Farmer is written and reviewed by the Cred Farmer editorial team, and each one is held to the same five rules.

01

**Facts come from the official sources**

Exam facts (domains, weights, item counts, fees, retake waits, validity) are checked against the official exam guides, v1.0 of July 2026, and the Anthropic partner certification FAQ. Where the two are silent we say so rather than guess.

02

**Every prep page shows its date**

A visible line on each certification page, guide and mock states the date its facts were last checked and, for practice pages, the date its question inventory last changed. If a date looks old, the page may be too.

03

**Items are written fresh, never recalled**

Practice questions are written for this site from the published domains and objectives. Nothing is recalled from a sitting, drawn from another provider, or shared with the exam, and a gate in the build rejects any item that repeats another set.

04

**Practice data is not exam data**

A mock score here starts from a raw count of correct answers. The exams report a scaled score with a 720 cut and publish no conversion from raw answers, so any practice figure on that scale is our own estimate, not calibrated against real exam results. Only your first sitting of each aligned form sets the band of a readiness score.

05

**We say what we are not**

Cred Farmer is independent of Anthropic and Pearson VUE, does not issue the credentials, and links the official sources so you can confirm anything here before you book.

This section was last reviewed on 17 September 2026 by the Cred Farmer editorial team. Found an error? Email [hello@credfarmer.com](mailto:hello@credfarmer.com) with the page and the fact, and a corrected page shows its new date.

From the study guide

## How to use the study guide

This guide teaches every objective in the official CCAO-F exam guide, one domain per chapter. Use it together with the mock exams, in the order below.

## Your first step

**Take the [30-minute diagnostic](https://credfarmer.com/c/ccao-f/diagnostic) to see where you stand.** It shows your strongest and weakest domains; it does not change your readiness score. Then study the domains it marks as weakest, and take [Mock Exam 1](https://credfarmer.com/c/ccao-f/practice/mock1) within your first week. Guided mode is fine for that first mock: untimed, with rationales at submission. Sit the other mocks after it, timed like the real exam.

After each mock, go through every item you missed and decide why you missed it. It may be a fact you did not know, a trap you fell for, or a question you misread. Then reread the part of the chapter that rules out the option you chose. The [test-taking playbook](https://credfarmer.com/c/ccao-f/study/test-taking-playbook) covers how to read items, rule out options and pace yourself.

The Objective Mastery Challenge also has a few items that ask you to put steps in order. The real exam does not use them, since every real item is multiple choice or multiple response.

## Cred Farmer's readiness rule

This readiness rule is Cred Farmer's own. Anthropic did not set it, and the official exam guide sets no target for practice scores. The real measure is the readiness score on your [Progress page](https://credfarmer.com/c/ccao-f/progress). A score of 90, the Exam-ready band, is our signal that your practice results support booking. It does not predict a pass, and when to book the exam is your decision.

- **What counts as a result:** your first sitting of each of the five practice forms, guided or timed. It is scored on the items you had not already seen answered in a drill. Re-sits, drills and the diagnostic never count.
- **The bands:** while those sittings average under the 720 cut, the score stays below 60. From 720 to 799 it cannot pass 89. Only an average of 800 or more, which the page marks Ready, lets it reach 90.
- **In correct answers:** on a 60-item form, 720 is 42 correct (70%) and 800 is 47 correct (78%). No real exam result has checked this scale, so treat it as a signal and not a promise.
- **Everything else:** progress on your study path, the objectives your mocks covered and a study streak move the score within its band, never past it.

Neither the score nor the real exam judges domains one by one. Use the domain breakdown on the Progress page to pick what to repair next.

## What the tiers mean

Each section carries one of three tier labels. Core and Practice sections make up your study path and count toward your progress. Reference sections sit beside the path, for when you need them.

- **Core:** this page, the [official exam snapshot](https://credfarmer.com/c/ccao-f/study/official-exam-snapshot) and the seven domain chapters. Together they teach each exam objective once.
- **Practice:** the clinics, labs, worked solutions, mastery checkpoint and test-taking playbook. Work through them after the chapters they practice.
- **Reference:** the flashcards, glossary, cheat sheets, exam-day pages and the [30-day study plan](https://credfarmer.com/c/ccao-f/study/30-day-study-plan), which puts these steps on a calendar.

## Each chapter

Each domain chapter opens with a short summary box. It then takes the official objectives one at a time, in the exam guide's own words. Each objective gets the rule, the key facts, the common traps and a worked example. Links to Anthropic's own documentation at the end of each chapter are optional further reading.
